About me

One craftsman.
One standard.

For more than 30 years, I have worked in building renovation, carpentry, and decorative finishing across England and France. After training as a carpenter in the northeast of England, I moved to France in the early 1990s, where I renovated several houses and developed a deep appreciation for traditional building techniques and natural materials.

In 2004, I moved to Paris and established a successful renovation and decorating company, specialising in high-end apartment refurbishments throughout the city. I later continued my work in the south of France, renovating villas in Nice, Cannes, and Saint-Tropez.

Over the years, I have worked on a number of prestigious projects, including restoration work at Château de Vincennes, work connected to Gio Ponti's L'Ange Volant, and the Egyptian rooms at the Louvre Museum. In the UK, I was also part of the renovation team for Camden Palace. These projects helped deepen my expertise in final fit and finishing, while also inspiring a lasting passion for clay and lime plastering.

Now based in West Sussex after returning to England in 2025, I continue to offer hands-on renovation expertise while project managing ongoing work in Paris, London, and the south of France.
